FAQ

Fridge repair & regas questions

Common questions about refrigeration faults, refrigerant leaks and service.

Does refrigerant normally run out?

Refrigerant does not normally disappear simply because a fridge gets older. Low charge can indicate a leak or another refrigeration-system fault.

Should a leak be repaired before regassing?

Where a leak is identified and repairable, the underlying leak should be addressed before charging the system.

What are signs of low refrigerant?

Poor cooling, temperature problems and other symptoms can have several causes. Proper diagnosis is needed before assuming refrigerant is the problem.

Do you repair commercial refrigeration?

Selected commercial refrigeration, freezers and cold-room systems can be serviced subject to equipment, access and parts availability.

What refrigerants do you work with?

Depending on equipment specifications, systems may use R600a, R290/R290a, R134a, R404A, R448A, R449A, R410A, R32 or R458.
